Introduction:

Religious scholars have long strived to guide seekers of salvation onto the path of worshipping God Almighty. These jurists and students of the School of Ahl al-Bayt (Peace Be Upon Them) have, throughout history, devoted their entire beings, aided by religious teachings, to protect and safeguard the life-giving school of Islam, confronting deviations and distortions. A portion of their intellectual and scientific efforts is manifested in their books and works. It is incumbent upon us to preserve this precious heritage by keeping it alive and to transmit this trust to future generations.

This software, produced in collaboration between the Computer Research Center for Islamic Sciences and the Jurisprudential Center of the Infallible Imams (Peace Be Upon Them), presented within the framework of the new version of the "Noor Digital Library," encompasses the jurisprudential, principled (Usuli), exegetical, and other reference works of the late Grand Ayatollah Hajj Sheikh Muhammad Fazel Lankarani (May God sanctify his secret), along with transcripts of his lectures and his biography.

We hope that through the publication of this encyclopedia, we have been able to assist dear researchers, thinkers, and knowledge seekers in elevating pure Islamic and Shia science and thought.

Program Content:

This program includes 41 book titles from the works of Grand Ayatollah Fazel Lankarani (May God sanctify his secret) on topics such as: Creed (Aqa'id), Exegesis (Tafsir), Hadith, Jurisprudence and Principles (Fiqh & Usul), along with his biography and lecture transcripts (Taqreerat). Some of the books presented in this library include: "Madkhal al-Tafsir," "Ayat al-Tathir," "Al-Dawlah al-Islamiyyah," "Tafsil al-Shari'ah," "Usul Fiqh Shia," "Al-Qawa'id al-Fiqhiyyah," "Jami' al-Masa'il," "Manasik Hajj," and "Mu'tamad al-Usul."

Program Features:

The "Library" is the main capability of the program, and its important sections include the following:

1. Display:

In this section, one can access all works available in the program; the complete text of the books available in the software and the features related to each section are displayed. Selecting tree-view and selective indexes and their two-way connection with the text can be counted among the important features of the display section. Using distinct colors for different parts of a text, selecting the book title, volume, and page, and expanding and zooming in on the text page are features of the display section. In the display section, one can also compare two texts simultaneously and limit the scope of books, chapters, and headings.

2. Search:

This section allows users to perform simple and advanced searches in the phrases and words of the texts available in the program. Accessing desired texts via volume and page numbers, and creating or modifying personal search domains, are other capabilities of this section. The "Pattern Modeling" feature is also among the abilities of the search section, whereby, utilizing the input line, one can generate a list of words containing specific letters.

3. Quran:

Another capability of this program is the allocation of a separate section for displaying the text of the Holy Quran, offered in two parts: "Display" and "Search." In the display section, the user can access the complete text of the Quran. In the search section, the capability to research the words of the Holy Quran through various methods has been provided.

4. Gallery:

This section presents dozens of images related to Grand Ayatollah Fazel Lankarani (May God have mercy on him).

The Jurisprudential Center of the Infallible Imams (Peace Be Upon Them)

Among Islamic sciences, the science of Jurisprudence (Fiqh) holds a lofty status. The continuity, growth, and flourishing of this science are owed to the valuable thought, expression, and pen of wise scholars. A prominent characteristic of Fiqh is its breadth and universality covering all aspects of human life. In a society oriented towards religiosity and belief in God, individuals strive to perform their duties in every field as befits and suits them. Thus, in this arena where individuals seek their religious obligations, numerous questions are directed towards jurists, especially regarding the clarification of contemporary issues (Mustahdathah), which demands greater effort in the field of Ijtihad. Therefore, after the victory of the Islamic Revolution led by the great Marja', esteemed jurist, and tireless mujahid, Imam Khomeini (May God sanctify his secret), and the establishment of religious governance in Iran, and in the path of developing and flourishing authentic Shia Fiqh and responding to the jurisprudential needs of the time, the "Jurisprudential Center of the Infallible Imams (Peace Be Upon Them)" was established in Qom in 1997 AD (1376 SH) by order of the great Marja', Grand Ayatollah Fazel Lankarani (May God sanctify his secret).

During the lifetime of that pious Marja' (May God's pleasure be upon him), the Jurisprudential Center of the Infallible Imams (Peace Be Upon Them) was administered under his supervision. Due to the heavy burden of Marja'iyyah (religious authority), during his lifetime, he delegated the presidency of the center to his worthy son, the capable manager, Grand Ayatollah Hajj Sheikh Mohammad Javad Fazel Lankarani (May his blessings endure), who is, praise be to Allah, one of the renowned professors of advanced lessons (Dars al-Kharij) in the Qom Seminary. In his will, he also recommended the continuation of the center's activities under his son's supervision, considering him qualified for the rank of absolute Ijtihad. It is worth noting that this center has a registered statute.

We ask God Almighty for success in appropriately guarding this divine trust and the legacy of Marja'iyyah. We hope to be able to fulfill the will of that great departed Marja' (May God sanctify his secret).

Building of the Jurisprudential Center of the Infallible Imams (AS)

This massive building was constructed on a plot of land measuring approximately 5,000 square meters, adjacent to Moalem Square in the city of Qom. It consists of six and a half floors and includes a mosque spanning two floors, four conference halls equipped with necessary systems, and a grand library covering an area of 4,000 square meters. It is one of the richest specialized libraries, currently housing 40,000 book volumes, and a study hall with a capacity of 500 people. The center also possesses multiple information sites, educational classrooms, and administrative departments.
