A brief introduction Tafsir al-Shubbar

Sayyid Abdullah Shabar Hussaini Kazmi was born in Najaf. He is a fruitful tree of knowledge. His lineage traces back to Imam Zain al-Abidin. His father, Sayyid Muhammad Reza, became famous for performing the prayer for rain (Istisqa) during the time of Said Pasha, the Ottoman Sultan, and was called "Sahib al-Da'wah al-Mustajabah" (the one whose prayers are answered).
Sayyid Abdullah Shabar is known for his love of authorship and is famous as "Majlisi al-Thani" (the second Majlisi).
He became a Shia Marja' after Sayyid Mohsen A'raji and Sheikh Muhammad Jafar Kashif al-Ghita.
Sayyid Abdullah Shabar's interpretation of the Holy Quran is a valuable and concise exegesis. This commentary is known by the name of its author. It begins from Surah Al-Fatiha and ends with Surah An-Nas.
This interpretation includes beautiful morphological, grammatical, and theological discussions.
Due to this commentary being in Arabic, those interested in the Quran are deprived of reading it. Therefore, we decided to translate this valuable commentary into Persian. The translation of this commentary is penned by Ms. Fatima Dashti Najafi under the supervision of Hujjat al-Islam Muhammad Baqir Dashti Najafi.
This translation covers up to the end of verse 30 of Surah Al-An'am.
