Introduction:

Religious scholars have long strived to guide those seeking salvation onto the path of worshipping God. These jurists and students of the School of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) have, throughout history, devoted themselves entirely, with the help of religious teachings, to protecting and preserving the life-giving School of Islam and confronting deviations and distortions. A portion of these intellectual and scientific efforts is manifested in their books and works. It is incumbent upon us to protect their precious heritage by keeping it alive and to transmit this trust to future generations.

This software, produced in collaboration between the Islamic Sciences Computer Research Center and the Jurisprudential Center of the Infallible Imams (peace be upon them), within the framework of the new version of the Noor Digital Library, contains the authored works of His Eminence Ayatollah Muhammad Jawad al-Fadhil al-Lankarani, some transcripts of his lectures, as well as publications of the Jurisprudential Center of the Infallible Imams (peace be upon them).

We hope that through the dissemination of this encyclopedia, we have been able to assist esteemed researchers, thinkers, and knowledge seekers in elevating the science and pure thought of Islam and Shi'ism.

Program Content:

This program includes 23 book titles authored by His Eminence Ayatollah Muhammad Jawad al-Fadhil al-Lankarani, along with some transcripts of his lectures and publications of the Jurisprudential Center of the Infallible Imams (peace be upon them), covering topics such as: Examination of Quranic verses regarding Khums, Distortion of the Quran, Principles of Jurisprudence (Usul), Artificial Insemination, the Rule of Finality and Transgression (Qa'idat al-Faragh wa al-Tajawuz), The wife's inheritance from her husband and her deprivation in certain cases, Jurisprudential Rules, The Usuli School of the Seminary, Children's Rights in Imami Jurisprudence, Sex Change from a Jurisprudential Perspective, Rulings on Hudud (Punishments), Refuting doubts regarding Ziyarat Ashura, Jurisprudential-Legal study of Brain Death, Rijali study of Sahl bin Ziyad, Jurisprudential narrations transmitted from Imam Ali (peace be upon him), Study of the Ghadir event, and more. Program Features:

The Library is the main feature of the program, and its important sections include the following:

1. Display

In this section, users can access all works available in the program; the complete text of the books available in the software and the features related to each section are displayed. Important features of the Display section include: the ability to select tree and selective indexes and their bidirectional link with the text. Other features of the Display section are: using distinct colors for different parts of a text, selecting the book title, volume, and page, and expanding and zooming the text page. In the Display section, users can also compare two texts simultaneously and restrict the scope of books, chapters, and headings.

2. Search

This section allows users to perform simple and advanced searches in the phrases and words of the texts available in the program. Other capabilities of this section include: accessing desired texts via volume and page numbers, and creating or modifying personal search scopes. The "Pattern Modeling" feature is another capability of the Search section, which allows generating a list of words containing specific letters using an input line.

3. Quran

Another feature of this program is the dedication of a separate section for displaying the text of the Holy Quran, offered in two parts: "Display" and "Search". In the Display part, the user can access the complete text of the Quran. In the Search part, the ability to research the words of the Holy Quran through various methods is provided.

4. Gallery

In this section, dozens of images related to Grand Ayatollah al-Fadhil al-Lankarani (may God have mercy on him) are presented.

The Jurisprudential Center of the Infallible Imams (peace be upon them)

Among Islamic sciences, Jurisprudence (Fiqh) holds a lofty status. The continuity, growth, and flourishing of this science are indebted to the valuable thought, expression, and pen of virtuous scholars. A prominent feature of Fiqh is its breadth and universality covering all aspects of human life. In a society oriented towards religion and belief in God, individuals strive to perform their duties in every field as properly and appropriately as possible. Thus, in this arena where people seek their religious obligations, numerous questions are directed towards scholars of Fiqh, especially regarding the clarification of contemporary issues (Mustahdathat), which demands greater effort in the realm of Ijtihad. Therefore, after the victory of the Islamic Revolution led by the great Marja', the eminent Faqih, and the tireless Mujahid, Imam Khomeini (may God sanctify his secret), and the establishment of religious governance in Iran, the "Jurisprudential Center of the Infallible Imams (peace be upon them)" was founded in Qom in 1997 (1376 SH) by order of the late Grand Ayatollah al-Fadhil al-Lankarani (may God sanctify his secret), aiming to develop and flourish authentic Shia Fiqh and respond to contemporary jurisprudential needs.

During the lifetime of that pious Marja' (may God be pleased with him), the Center was administered under his supervision. Due to the heavy burden of Marja'iyah, he entrusted the presidency of the Center to his worthy, capable, and prudent son, His Eminence Ayatollah Haj Sheikh Muhammad Jawad al-Fadhil al-Lankarani (may God prolong his bounties)—who is, praise be to God, one of the renowned professors of advanced lectures (Kharij) in the Qom Seminary. In his will, he also recommended the continuation of the Center's activities under his personal supervision, considering him qualified for the rank of Absolute Ijtihad. It is worth noting that the Center has a registered charter.

We ask God Almighty for success in properly safeguarding this divine trust and the legacy of Marja'iyah. We hope to fulfill the will of that great departed Marja' (may God sanctify his secret).

Building of the Jurisprudential Center of the Infallible Imams (AS)

This massive building was constructed on a plot of land approximately 5,000 square meters, adjacent to Moalem Square in the city of Qom. It consists of six and a half floors and includes a mosque spanning two floors, four conference halls equipped with necessary systems, and a grand library covering an area of 4,000 square meters, which is one of the richest specialized libraries, currently housing 40,000 volumes, along with a study hall with a capacity of 500 people. The Center also houses multiple information sites, educational classrooms, and administrative departments.
